Midnight Breakfast
Posted by kpontano in : Uncategorized , add a commentSU had its first ever midnight breakfast from 10:30-12AM this past Tuesday night. It was a great success with approximately 400 students coming by the dining hall to have pancakes and cereal, all served by some of the SU faculty/staff. The night was completed by a DJ and a lot of dancing. We hope to carry this tradition on each semester.
Checking Out
Posted by kpontano in : Uncategorized , add a commentFor more information, see the forms on the RD office door, speak to any RA/RD, or go to Avalon Community Center.
The basics: You must sign up on any RA in the building’s door 12 hours ahead of when you want to leave. At that time, the RA will bring all paperwork, check the room, and you will return your keys (room and post office) and your parking permit. Damages will be assessed later by the RD.
A new option this year is express check-out. Simply grab an envelope from Avalon and leave your keys and parking pass in there, seal it, and leave with a person at the Avalon front desk. This option is quick and does not require signing up ahead of time. Please note that damage appeals are waved when using this option.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, our RAs will be in the lobby ready to check you out. This does NOT require a sign up time prior to checking out. You simply pack up everything and then go to the tables in the lobby and ask someone to check you out. RAs will be there 10-10 Thursday and Friday and 9-11 on Sat. Please note that everyone must be out by Saturday at NOON~
Thank you and have a happy and safe summer!!! I look forward to seeing you all next year and I hope that you enjoyed your time in Patapsco Hall.
